Terms of Service

Last updated July 8, 2026

These terms govern your use of Redactly's website and services. By engaging us you agree to them.

What we provide

Redactly locates listings of your personal information on data-broker and people-search sites, files opt-out and removal requests you authorise, monitors for re-listing, and reports results. The scope of any engagement is set out in the written quote you receive after your free exposure scan.

What we do not promise

We do not and cannot guarantee that any specific listing will be removed, or that a removed listing will never reappear. Removal depends on each broker honouring its own opt-out process, and brokers re-source records from public feeds. We also cannot remove public records, truthful journalism, or content hosted by sites with no removal obligation. Any provider guaranteeing permanent or total deletion is misrepresenting how the industry works.

Fees & payment

The exposure scan and quote are free. Paid services are billed at the flat or subscription price stated in your written quote. We do not take upfront crypto-only payments and we do not auto-renew a subscription without notifying you in advance. You may cancel a subscription at any time; cancellation stops future monitoring and billing but does not reverse work already performed.

Your responsibilities

You confirm that the information you provide is about you (or a person you are legally authorised to represent) and that you have the right to request its removal. You agree not to use our services to conceal unlawful activity or to suppress information you have no lawful basis to remove.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Redactly's liability arising from the services is limited to the fees you paid for the affected engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for the acts of the third-party brokers and platforms we submit requests to.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
