Privacy Policy

Last updated July 8, 2026

We are a privacy company, so we hold ourselves to the standard we sell. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why, and how little of it we keep.

What we collect

To run an exposure scan we need only the information required to identify your listings: your name, city/state, and optionally past addresses or aliases. When you contact us we also process the details you send us (email, phone, or messaging handle) so we can reply. We do not require, and will never ask for, account passwords or payment details to run a scan.

How we use it

We use your information solely to (1) locate data-broker and people-search listings about you, (2) file opt-out and removal requests on your behalf, (3) monitor for re-listing, and (4) communicate with you about your case. We do not sell your personal information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not build a profile of you beyond what is needed to remove your exposure.

Sharing with data brokers

Filing a removal necessarily discloses a minimal identifier to the specific broker that holds your record, because that is how an opt-out is matched and processed. We share only what each request requires and only with the broker in question. We never send your data to a broker for any purpose other than removing you from it.

Retention

We keep case records for as long as you are an active client plus the period needed to prove removals were filed, then we delete them. You can ask us to delete your data at any time; where we are not legally required to retain a record, we will.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, or US state laws such as the CCPA/CPRA — including the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We do not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

Cookies & analytics

Our public site uses minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic. We do not use cross-site advertising trackers. Outbound links to our messaging channels are counted only as anonymous click totals.
